My name is Monica. I have a wonderful husband and an adorable 3 year old son who is a mini-me of his daddy – and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂 We live in sunny Southern California and enjoy that there are so many things to do that are just a hop, skip and a jump away. We enjoy going to the zoo, go to Dodger games, play outside, and watch movies to name a few.

I am the youngest of 4 kids, to two awesome parents! I was born in the Philippines and have moved back and forth (Philippines and California) since I was 7 years old. I treasure having lived in both countries and making friends as I go.

My husband and I have been together for 9+ years and married for almost 6 years. We did the long distance thing for about 2 years since I was finishing up with my degree but we knew it was worth the effort. After sitting in the sun and getting that ever-so-important piece of paper, David invited me to a go on a family cruise (that was also a graduation present to me) and proposed while we were touring Hawaii. We snorkeled, went on a waterfall hike, went tubing, and most importantly decided to spend the rest of our lives together. It was definitely a trip to remember!

Wedding planning was fun and stressful all at the same time. We have large families and knew it was going to be a fun night! We got married overlooking a golf course and had family and close friends in attendance.

We were lucky to find our pup, Maggie. She was our first fur baby 🙂 To be honest, I was not much of a dog-person… especially not a “big dog” person. And what did we end up with? A 65lb Siberian Husky/Golden Retriever! One minute with her, I knew she was right for our family. She may be a large dog but that doesn’t stop her from sitting in your lap and cuddling -and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

About a year and a half later, it was baby time – Jayden was our early Christmas present. My life has changed tremendously since becoming a mommy. I can’t image not being one. He has been a true blessing to me and my husband. I sometimes just stare at my boys and remember just how lucky I am. Jayden is 3 and a half, going on 13. He has a little teenager in him dying to get out, but has the carefree spirit and curiosity of a little one. He has us laughing all the time, even to the point of tears. He makes us so happy!

Come join me and my family as we navigate through life.
